One of the most famous golf holes in the
world - the 17th, or Road Hole, at the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland. Tom Watson lost his chance to win a record 6th Open here
in 1984 when he hit his second shot over the road and up against the
wall. Seve Ballesteros was the winner that year. This
brutally difficult hole has claimed countless victims over the past
hundreds of years. This photo was taken at the 1990 British Open.
Jack Nicklaus is in the red sweater practicing from the bunker.
