******************************************************************** The fundamentals I stress for all golfers include: grip, alignment/posture, takeaway, shoulder and hip turn, steady center, extension through the ball, tempo, pre-shot routine, and mental imaging. You will learn the fundamentals, understand them, FEEL them, and be able to apply them to the golf club and your particular style and physique. I am not into quick fixes or gimmicks. Once these fundamentals are firmly engrained, practice will make them natural, and the swing will flow with proper timing and tempo to hit the ball where you want it to go, whether it be a full drive or a six-foot putt. For beginning golfers: I offer an introduction to the game and some basic etiquette, the rules (mostly in handouts that you can read later), cover the areas of the full swing, short game, and putting, and explain the different mentality involved in hitting a golf ball on a practice range and actually "playing" golf. (For those totally new to golf, I teach the game from the green to the tee, meaning that we will first begin with the short game and work our way up to the driver. We will practice small segments of the game the right way and then move on.) This plan of instruction is also geared toward business people who want to learn the game in order to play it competently with bosses and clients. For intermediate golfers: I will ask you about your game, i.e., how long have you played, how often you play, on what type of courses (course rating/slope), your average score for 18 holes, how many putts you normally take for a round, your major ball flight tendency (does it slice or hook, etc.), and work on eliminating faulty swing habits and thought processes. Good golf demands a certain amount of discipline and commitment - you can't just go out and bang your driver mindlessly for an hour and expect to learn anything productive about how to play the game. You must have a plan and stick to it, and I will give you that plan and help you carry it out. And you WILL see positive results if you keep at it and don't give up! So contact me and let's begin to play better golf! Below you will find links to a number of topics that will offer a more complete picture of my approach to the game, which incorporates physical and mental aspects. As the old teacher Percy Boomer said over half a century ago: "Every good shot is the outcome of a satisfactory psychological-physical relationship." "It is this relationship that gives control and consistency.” “You must be mindful, but not thoughtful as you swing.”

If you want to learn how to play golf but don't know where to start, Beginner's Guide to Golf is a perfect match for you (along with affordable lessons from me, of course). Golf professional Chris Otis and internet marketer Raynay Valles, assisted by other experts in the game, explain in very clear language the basics of golf. The book covers all areas of the game: etiquette and rules, choosing the right golf equipment (and how to care for it), the fundamentals of the golf swing and short game, how to practice, and how to play the game and “manage” the golf course. It also includes helpful tips, a glossary of golf terms, and photographs and diagrams which compliment the text very well. This book will help anyone wishing to learn the game and not shortchange them by leaving out pertinent information. Try It Risk Free! You Have An 8 Week "Play Better or Don't Pay" Money Back Guarantee. The price is right, so check it out now!
