The era of 1890-1914 will always be remembered for the mark left on the game of golf by John Henry (J.H.) Taylor (left), James Braid (middle), and Harry Vardon (right). Known as the "Great Triumvirate," they collected sixteen British Open Championships amongst them and have left an indelible impression on the game of golf. They are all members of the World Golf Hall of Fame - Vardon (1974), Taylor (1975), Braid (1976).
